Yeah, I was thinking strictly canon and during the Clone Wars.

Jedi General: A title given to those given commanding roles in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. In it, he sees the Jedi, slain. Died. It's brilliant writing. It's pretty heavily implied during the Clone Wars (movie) that Yoda and Obi-Wan conspired to get Anakin to train Ahsoka, and so Obi-Wan never actually intended to train her himself.
